  • 1 Small saucepan
  • 1 small strainer/sieve
  • 1 small bottle/jar
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 cocktail glass

Ingredients
  

Rose Hibiscus Syrup

  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 grams water
  • 2 tbsp rose petals
  • 2 tbsp hibiscus
  • 1 tbsp rosewater

Cocktail

  • 1 shot rose hibiscus syrup
  • 1 shot pink gin
  • lemonade

Instructions
 

Rose Hibiscus Syrup

  • Add all syrup ingredients to a small saucepan.
  • Heat on medium/high for 4-5 minutes, allowing the syrup to boil.
  • Strain well into a small bottle or jar, pressing the flowers well to squeeze out as much flavour as possible.
  • Allow to cool fully before making the cocktail.

Cocktail

  • Place a shot of the syrup along with a shot of pink gin into a cocktail shaker along with a few cubes of ice.
  • Shake vigorously to chill the drink and strain carefully into a cocktail glass.
  • Top off with lemonade and garnish with rose petals.
