Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Square 7 inch baking tin

Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml hot water
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 70 grams golden caster sugar
  • 7 grams gelatin powder

Instructions
 

  • In the large mixing bowl, add the coffee granules and sugar.
  • Pour the hot water, just boiled, over the coffee and sugar.
  • Whisk until everything has dissolved.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the coffee and whisk until melted and fully dissolved.
  • Grease and line the square baking tin and pour in the coffee jelly.
  • Leave to set in the fridge for 4 hours before cutting into cubes.
  • Serve with milk, cream, condensed milk or Baileys.
