This recipe goes so well with my previous one, Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake, or sprinkled over ice cream or any dessert really! These sugared pecans and pumpkin seeds are so quick to whip up, keep really well in an airtight container, at least two weeks and this recipe can be doubled and tripled so easily.
These sugared pecans and pumpkin seeds are so simple. Literally all you need to do is mix together the pecans, pumpkin seeds, icing sugar and egg white. You then need to spread them out on a baking tray in a single layer, pop them into the oven for 10 minutes, making sure to stir halfway through. Allow them to cool and sprinkle on any dessert for an added sweet nutty crunch.
