Quick Breakfast Date, Coffee & Oat Shake

This recipe is perfect for breakfast on the go or a delightful afternoon pick me up/snack all rolled into one! Of course, as with nearly every recipe on here I would like to mention that a splash of booze in this does not feel out of place either! My favorite pairings with this are Baileys, butterscotch schnapps and Frangelico to make that afternoon extra special…. or morning, I’m not here to judge sis! 😉

When choosing a banana, try to go for the darkest, ripest one you have on hand. The darker the banana the sweeter and more intense the flavour. To really make this recipe quick and easy, make your coffee in advance and let it cool, this way all you have to do is to throw everything together, blend it and serve over ice!
